Najib: RM1.2 Bilion Untuk Pendidikan Prasekolah Berkualiti
KUALA LUMPUR: Sebanyak RM1.2 bilion akan disediakan kepada
pelbagai agensi kerajaan sebagai platform melengkapkan kanak-kanak
dengan pendidikan prasekolah berkualiti, kata Najib Razak.
Agensi berkenaan termasuk Jabatan Kemajuan Masyarakat, Kementerian
Pelajaran, PERMATA dan Jabatan Perpaduan dan Integrasi Nasional yang
terbabit secara langsung dalam menyediakan pendidikan prasekolah.
"Sebagai tambahan, RM380 juta akan disediakan kepada Kementerian
Pelajaranuntuk penempatan guru prasekolah," katanya semasa membentangkan
Belanjawan 2013di Dewan Rakyat, Jumaat.
Najib, yang juga Menteri Kewangan berkata kerajaan juga mencadangkan
beberapa insentif untuk memastikan kanak-kanak mendapat penjagaan
sempurna di samping membangunkan perkembangan minda yang positif.
Beliau berkata insentif itu termasuk geran pelancaran RM10,000 kepada
PusatPendidikan Awal Pendidikan Kanak-Kanak (ECCE) swasta untuk membantu
merekamembuka taska baharu yang berkualiti.
